EDTSubject: [stoddard] Sean's idea of a map of the great Island, and what we've
seen thus far
I hope Steve doesn't laugh too hard, and I am sure he won't say how off it is,
but here is what I've cobbled together.
Apologies for being fairly inept at the tech and software. this is just a
photo taken on my PoC iPhone.
Turn the photo so you can read names properly, and the top of the map is north.
The scale of the map, undefined as it is, is too big to show some of the
little spots, like where the dogs were buried, and the basilisk lair.
Aarell, Dugal's Cove and Temple point are written out. There are 20 numbers on
the map. They are as follows:
1: Burning Cove, where we found Fern the Fearless dead, and where Sean and
Ahearn went off in search of what ended up being Myrtle.2: The tomb where
Zazerial and Lattimore were found. Elmore's Holy Grail.3: The mouth of the
Crane River4: The Crane River Circle/Island on which it is located. 5:
Foolsmarch6: Daysreach7: Hogstown (presumed)8: Fossilized Dragon/Nalba
Shrine9: Marked on a map as "Great Evil"10: Marked on a map as "Ogres"11:
Marked on a map as a treasure location12: Marked on a map as a treasure
location (Sean thinks this might be the Cairns)13: Ancient Ruins purported to
be HQ of the Crimson. A square north of there is roughly where the now sealed
Pirate Cove teleporter put us14: Goblin town15: Another goblin town16:
Purported lair of Ezanus the Evergreen. Halfway between it and the Crimson is
a tower last seen with ogres. I forgot to put it on the map17: I had it marked
on a map, but never denoted what it was. It's either were we fought the ticks,
or where we captured Hutton, Michel and Lorcan.18: Abandoned quarry owned by
the Droolbane, where Sean got a bit shot up.19: Temple Point Circle20:
Abandoned Lighthouse.
I hope this gives you a rough answer to what you were looking for, Fritz. I
suspect it is not accurate, but it is accurate enough for comparative purposes.
We have smaller scale maps for better local detail. But this is my best
approximation at putting the whole thing together.
I'd love for Steve to tell me how close I got it, but he's too good a poker
player DM for that. __._,_.___ Posted by: Tim Farley
