We probably have rope. I know Elmore does. Using the silk makes for some very
expensive slings I would imagine.

recommend Holly fly out to the back porch, and alert whoever is there, and if
Sean is still among them, then he goes and retrieves the folks at the camp,
with Elmore's Episcopal Guard, to aid in carrying whatever was left behind. If
the plan is to settle in at Tizar's End.
But, if the next objective is to tackle the caverns, it makes more sense to lug
everything to the closer camp. Or, it does to Sean, who isn't actually part of
the conversation. Sicarius doesn't understand the dynamics well enough, and is
about as junior as one can be, so he won't make any suggestions.
Let the brain trust figure it out. The brawn gang will make whatever the

That said, if you find Sean, his comments will essentially be "bring everyone
to the nearer camp."
You've got, what, three quarters of a ton of loot? Of which the critical stuff
is the coin, jewels and gems (almost 700 pounds) and the beer, tobacco and
wine. And the poison. As much as Sean will have already come up with a use
for the poles, they need not be carried. Nor is the silk necessarily needed.

Detect magic? Are you staying here overnight, gathering Sean and returning to

level of rotting. The silk is intact and probably has value. The silk is mostly
green, with some black, orange, and dark blue. The 27 10' poles are neither
trapped nor locked. The snare drum appears untrapped. There are two amphorae;
they appear to contain a modest red wine. The two small wooden boxes (2x3x3)
each have a simple brass padlock; one contains 3739 Stoddarian platinum pieces.
The other 2040 silver of mixed variety. The most interesting being about 50
gnomish silver pieces (plain flat rings). The wooden box marked poisons has six
vials of various liquids in them. The 12 casks of gnomish porter and the
medium-sized cask of tobacco have been identified. there are two old wooded
chests with copper (these remain from your first visit, although neither is
still full). The three large traveling cabinets contain jewelry. Including what
was on the white elvish thing, you will gather 46 pieces of jewelry. A few
platinum pieces stand out. A platinum bracelet set with a large ruby might be
the most valuable item though Holly and Elmore disagree on the value. One
thinks about 1000 the other 10,000 gold. There is a similar platinum necklace
set with emeralds and a platinum pendant with three diamonds. You already
opened the coffer and the casket; so you are aware of the gemstones and the
gold. There are also two tightly rolled carpets along the wall behind the
traveling cabinets.

That being said, we should pick a target to check for traps, Holly examines it

Carnodolana will be fully healed and protected from fire by the time Holly gets

The casks of ale are of a gnomish porter from Greystone on Stoddard. According
to the gnomes, it asked, it is mighty fine ale and Manrug will suggest a
non-gnomish guard if you expect it to return to Aarell. Another cask smells
like tobacco and the smell is good among all of the smell of undeath.
The white elvish creature is taller than a normal elf and sort of reeks of the
stink of undeath. It wears fine but long since rotted robes. It wears a large
silver ring set with gems, a wrought gold and silver ring and an ivory broach.
It has a scabbarded broad sword with an exquisite golden handle. A belt pouch
includes 1 gold and 6 copper of an ancient design with a winged creature on the
front and a camel on the reverse.
The 27 10' poles are unremarkable and may have been stock for poling oars or
something else shipboard.
Elmore will use a cure serious and two CLWs on Ahearn. He recovers 18 HPs. So
Ahearn should be at 21 HPs now after Xander's healing.

Insects are starting to gather on the white elf. Carnodolana and Sicarius
cannot get a clear shot past the ghoul and John Mac, Manrug and Kelbis are less
of an issue. John Mac and Manrug will both hit the remaining ghoul and bring it
down.
Hagar will kill one of the remaining ghasts. The last ghast cannot hit Hagar.
Ahearn will see the white elf disappear. It was definitely casting a spell and
is now gone. Xander will reach the bottom of the ghoul nest and will see Elmore
and Ahearn ahead.
What are you all doing for the next round? It appears that the western crypt
still has one white elvish creature surrounded by insects. The western crypt is
piled with lots of crap; mostly boxes and crates of rotted foodstuffs. Below,
one ghast remains opposite Hagar. Ahearn is bleeding in an excellent manner.
Elmore is standing like a stonewall.
Holly will note that Wolfgang is reaching the edge of the graveyard.
