force of divine power, she's best needed doing that.
And, of course, if time allows, philosophy also plays a role. Sean sees
himself as being here to enable others to do their thing. He is the
protector, sort of. It's complicated.

Unfortunately, there is no entity formally known as the party. If asked,
Sean would suggest Carandolana stay with the main body. But Sean does not
command. At best he suggests. And he takes what comes and adapts. Often

I assume the plan is still for some to watch the northern entrance while
the rest launch the main attack through the eastern entrance. Having seen
what destructive power of Ahearn, Sean is far more willing to let his
brother take himself off and do his thing. Sean's plan is to scout the
way, kill anything on the outside there, and, if it gets quiet, trek back
over top the caves and come back on to the eastern entrance from
behind/above it, and kill anything coming out of it.

Ahearn cuts the first ogre into tiny pieces; he did
more than 60HPs of damage to the poor little guy. Sean seems to be starting
the barbeque. Holly will hit the further ogre once and miss once. (Darn
unstable platform).
At the end of the round, one ogre remains running
away. I am going to assume Ahearn and Holly will continue after it. Ahearn
will come back to Sean burning the second troll, covered with ogre juices.
Holly got off one arrow but missed.
The rest of the party has caught up. Joseph looks at
Ahearn "I really can't let you out of my sight" and hands him a rag to at
least wash off his face.

Ok, for Round 2, Ahearn turns on the nearest (and last
remaining) troll and hits him twice. The troll hits him once for 5HPs. Sean
and Alga miss but the ogre hits Sean for 10HPs with a nasty club. Holly
misses twice on her first bombing run and they can see her now. Another
ogre stumbles towards Sean but turns to toss a spear at Holly. He misses
terribly and hits himself. Two more hit Sean for 9 HPs of damage.
Round 3, the party wins initiative, Sean drops the
first ogre. The second (wounded) ogre misses him. Holly is able to put two
arrows into its back. Meanwhile, Ahearn drops the troll and one of the
ogres. Two ogres remain and decide to run away.
Round 4? Holly can easily change to the running ogres;
I am assuming Ahearn will chase them down? Sean?

Subject: [stoddard] As Ahearn and Holly advance
As Ahearn and Holly advance, maybe 500 yards from the
eastern entrance, they will see a mixed group of four ogres and two trolls
wandering out of the entrance along with a single large wolf. Some steam
seems to be coming out of the entrance as well. The ogres are armed with
spears and clubs. They do not appear to have seen Ahearn or Holly yet.
