I would prioritise DL above ILB. Even though I see the reasoning for what this
guy says about prioritising ILB, their youngest regular on the DL is Wormley
and he’ll be 29 this year. Tuitt may not come back, Alualu will be 35, Jordan
Davis in round one would make a lot of sense if he projects in that range.
Strengthen the lines on both sides of the ball and everything else will follow.

The article correctly pointed out that his injury (even though he could
play)...the injury specifically hurt his burst. HOPEFULLY he'll recover
fully next year. Unfortunately we just don't know until we do.

Cool article. Thanks.
It points to an issue we've been discussing for years - there are serious
depth issues with this defense. And it also underscores how important it is
for Bush to get healthy. I am of the opinion that the Steelers should pick
up his 5th year option - it would do wonders for his mentality knowing the
team still believes in him, plus, for better or worse the Mack becomes a
position were you can at least pencil in your starter for the next 2 years.
If he responds in '22 and plays like the guy they thought they were getting
when they drafted him, then he's relatively cheap in '23. If not, then you
cut bait at some point.
