I was listening to some of the local post game and they used the word
redemption. They talked about Bush, Mitch, Edmunds and Chase stepping up.
Bush made a few key plays. Mitch played free. He even said he was more relaxed
because he wasn't thinking. Chase played like the WR we think he
can be and the key was he did not have to leave his feet to make any catches. I
like Edmunds and wished they had extended him when they brought
him back. He showed enough in the pre-season to go back at him and try to get
him for 2-3 years at a few mill a year.
Kenny drove right down the field to start the game. It appears as though Canada
can script the first drive, but then falls apart. Much better on his part too.
The D played actual defense for the first time since the first half of the
first game. Larry O and Reed had big plays and Cam returned to form.
I thought this game was very winnable as Tampa has stuggled but also thought
this team would not collapse after being embarrassed.
Sims shows that his pre-season was not a fluke and maybe he should have been
the man all along.
I think there is NO chance KP plays with the new focus on concussions ,
especially in MIA where the Tua issue started to new focus. We shall see,
Loved seeing little Heyard get a shot and have to give credit to the no name
secondary for not getting destroyed.
I just want steady progress and this is a good start.
