Even the people that claim to want the team to go 1-16 and get the top pick
have to be happy with that win. Definition of team win.
Many players, including some
completely unknowns, stepped up.
The negative is the exhilaration we all feel about beating Tom Brady. It’s
almost like JV beating the varsity to me. I hope the team strives to maintain
and doesn’t just hang their hat on beating a banged up TB team with a 45 year
old QB.
Still lots of issues but guys made plays when needed, there weren’t as many
obvious mental mistakes and while I know you can’t possibly measure effort or
heart it just seemed to be far more present. Was that a result of desperation,
maybe, but as long as it stays.
Miami will be another test especially if we don’t get some boys back in the
secondary.
I hope Kenny will be back , but with the league wide focus on concussions I
don’t see it( also the team protecting their future when we are winning a SB
this year )
We shall see, but i hope this was the rebound game we needed and the team
continues to grow which i was what you need in a re-build year.
