I wonder if there are some incentives that haven’t been reported. But I’m sure
that Edmunds is hoping for a big payday next year when the salary cap goes up.
If that’s the case, then the Steelers are probably the best team for him to
show his stuff for one year.
It is crazy, considering what his 5th year option would have cost $6.7M,
roughly $4M more.
