I certainly don't want to support Matt Canada, but I believe he misspoke.
Chase, DJ and George are all getting hats. Sims is in Gunner's spot and Boykins
has established himself at a key special teamer. That makes 5.
The issue for the team may be justifying dressing 6 WR's on gameday. I want to
see Austin as much as the next guy but in a week where we
are missing 4 key DBs and Freiermuth they may more concerned with keeping extra
secondary help on the bench than another WR.
When healthy Austin did not beat out anyone for a return spot so I am not
penciling him in there just yet either.
