Dear All,

I’m forwarding this kind invite from the St Andrews Sailing Club.  Although the
quiz is cancelled, on the 25 April, there is, what I’m quite sure will be, an
interesting talk about the Bell Rock Lighthouse.
The Bell Rock has additional meaning for me; on the 15 December 1955, an RAF
Sycamore Search and Rescue Helicopter, on a training exercise, crashed on the
Bell Rock, killing the 2 crew members.  The light, which protects shipping from
the Inchcape Rock, was out of action for a while.

Wonderful what you can learn being a member of St Andrew’s Coastal Rowing Club!

John

Huge apologies to those of you waiting for the new date for the Quiz Night.

Unfortunately the Quiz Master has a very limited schedule, as he's not in St
Andrews all the time.  With it coming up to the sailing season, we'll
probably leave it now until November when things quiet down a bit. I really
hope to welcome you to the club for the quiz then - and defend our trophy!!
Kirsty.
