COXES AND SHORE DOODLE POLL ONLY AUGUST 2017
Attached is the Cox and shore doodle poll for AUGUST 2017 . Please help where
you can . None of it is possible without club members willing to volunteer for
Cox and shore duty
Add your name to the doodle poll if you are able to Cox or cover shore duty for
any of the rowing sessions. If you could put a C or S beside your name to
indicate which you wish to do .
Monday afternoons social row will be organised on an ad hoc basis by Julia &
Sharon subject to their availability and weather conditions. The intermediate
sessions on Thursday will take place every second week .
August is a busy regatta month with the following events taking place ;
Shieldaig 12th & 13th
Queensferry 19th
North Berwick 26th
We will endeavour to have a skiff available for club rowing on those weekends
but this will be determined by the status of equipment / repairs and may be
subject to amendment .

EASY ROWING ;
ONE boat unless other other wise stated
ONE cox required for the session
ONE shore person required
INTERMEDIATE ROWING
ONE boat unless other other wise stated
ONE cox required for the session
ONE shore person required
RACING ROWING;
ONE boat but is flexible depending upon demand
NO nominated cox but each boat MUST contain ONE person who has completed cox
training.
ALL rowers will be expected to rotate and cox under supervision
ONE shore person required
A shore person is central to our safety procedures. If you haven't done the cox
training please volunteer to cover the shore , we will tell you what to do .
