Dear Members,
Sorry to bombard you with yet another e-mail, but I hope you will agree that it
is for a good cause. To celebrate my 70th birthday, I will be cycling from my
first Helicopter Search and Rescue Station, Leuchars, to my last, Lossiemouth,
a distance of 180 miles. I shall not be busting a gut, taking 5 days to
complete the trip. My departure date is 11 May.
As well as being my ‘roady’, Barbara suggested I raise money for a charity and
to that end, she opened a ‘justgiving’ account. I have chosen to support
