The Wemyss skiff is to be turned in the market street garage on the evening of
Monday 8th May to which all are invited to attend . Please RSVP to Stephen

Please note , further to the recent AGM , rowing £1's have increased to £2 ,
COX AND SHORE PERSON ARE EXEMPT.

EASY ROWING, a social row with the pace dictated by the crew and will have a
prearranged Cox and shore person. Suitable for those who are new to rowing or
do not wish a physically demanding session. The Cox will instruct regarding
timing and technique to ensure a smooth row for all participants.
INTERMEDIATE ROWING , a medium intensity row building on timing, technique and
stamina under the instruction of the cox. Designed as a transition between easy
rowing and race training with Cox and shore cover provided . Suitable for
members who rowed last season and wish to progress.
RACE ROWING / DAWN TRAINING , a hard physical work out that should make you
sweat encompassing a mixture of sprints , distance rowing and racing drills for
technically competent rowers . Comprising of mixed crews or constituted teams
as the regatta season progresses . Cox and shore cover to be determined by
participants on the day . All skiffs must contain one rower who has completed
our Cox training program.
The skiff must contain one club member who has done the cox training from names
listed below .
Times vary to accommodate a harbour launch where possible.

A shore person is central to our safety procedures. If you haven't done the cox
training please volunteer to cover the shore , we will tell you what to do .
The cox will text to advise all rowers only if session cancelled. There may
be occasions when the sea conditions change favourably or otherwise in a short
period and a decision whether or not to row may need to be made with rowers
present. Please add your number to list of contact telephone numbers is in the
