As you can see, we allow up to 48 shooters to register for the match. So, even if squads are full, shooters can still register.
We continuously monitor registration and an open up slots as needed. It is extremely rare that a shooter can not immediately squad after registering.

More spots for shooters means better numbers potentially.
Let's face it folks. If we want IDPA to last at Sprague, and there aren't a lot of other options, we are in a numbers war.

You should consider increasing the squad sizes for Sunday June 12. As of this writing, they are at 6 apiece. Three are maxed, fourth is almost full.

I was afraid this would happen when you stepped down. The past several club elections we pushed to have IDPA and pin shooters elected. This is why.

It needs to be pointed out how much money IDPA makes the club. Both in match fees and new members. I would hazard to guess that more new members join each year from IDPA than from Skeet or anything else. It needs to be demonstrated that IDPA money is used to maintain the ranges and the work is usually put in by or through IDPA shooters. They need to be shown the damaged target holders and other junk left on the ranges, and that it isn't IDPA guys shooting stuff up, doing damage, and leaving junk behind. We are the ones cleaning it up.

Ask them to post a request to the general membership for volunteers for a range cleanup and maintenance day, see how many people they get. We will do the same and see how many IDPA people we get.  Let them see who does the work, who takes care of the place, and who foots the bill.
