Hi folks,
Ken, W0THI has put a new repeater on the air at 444.600, no tone is required.
This repeater is linked with the 145.230 repeater. Ken is providing this
service for those who are using handhelds downtown and for those who are in
offices on the lower level at ISU and other buildings, so that we can all have
a part in the weather nets. .
The repeater antenna is about 400 feet up the WTHI tower at 9th and Ohio. Its
running about 100 watts and the range even out of the county is good.
Give it a try and when you hear Ken W0THI on please be sure to tell him thanks.
