I agree.Build them here. We had to confiscate ships from Germany,
Italy, Belgium and others in the start of WW II to get troops and war
materials to North Africa to get Germans turned back. I sailed the USAT
J. McANDREW which was Italian Cruise ship.
Fast. Run around 25 miles per hour. I was on it after it had b
een rammed off the Azores by the French Aircraft Carrier.
