No mention of iron fisted communist led China and American run Cruise ships
running there
and if you bothered to check out the occasional TV reports like during the 2nd
half of the
Super Bowl game switched to reports on China like I did, you would find the
loaded
department stores with the latest high tech stuff and learn that the Chinese
government is
subsidizing half the cost of private enterprising making Chinese designed and
built passenger
airplanes, battery operated cars and lots of other high tech goods and their
great attention to
schools preparing their greatest population for the future without concern for
cyclical depressions
inherent in greedy captalism.

Yes it's fascinating to sit back and watch the world economy collapse take
place right before your eyes. The economic depression of the 1930's is one of
those things that I was taught in school that, like the Holocaust story, never
made sense to me. The truth is that economic collapses have occurred regularly
throughout history, and always for the same reason, which is too much debt, and
the worst ones have occurred when currencies collapsed, which is the result of
too much government debt. This is what caused the fall of the Roman Empire and
led to the Dark Ages that lasted for centuries.
All of this is well known and well documented. The question is, if it is well
known and the consequences are so horrific then why does the human race keep
making the same mistakes over and over and over again?
One explanation, given the the Soviet economist Nikolai Kondratiev is that it
is human nature. He studied history aqnd discovered that economic collapses had
occurred approximately every 60 years and he reasoned they could only occur
when all the people who experienced the last economic collapse have died and
the horrors that resulted from it had been forgotten. He published his work in
1925 when average life expectancy was around 60 years. Interestingly his reward
for making this discovery was that he was tried, found guilty and executed by
the Soviet government because his ideas were contrary to the socialist idea of
a government centrally planned economy which is supposed to put an end to
economic collapses.
FDR sent his Treasury Secretary to the Soviet Union to learn how to implement a
socialist centrally planned economy. One of the results was he made it illegal
for Americans to own gold and made Americans exchange their gold U.S. Dollars
for paper U.S. Dollars. At the time he did this 1 oz of gold was worth $20.
Today 1 oz of gold is worth $1180, not because the value of gold has increased
but because the value of the U.S. Dollar has decreased.
The reason why the dollar has lost so much value is because this is how
socialist governments steal money from people without them even being aware of
it. As The Jewish economist John Maynard Keynes wrote: "Lenin is said to have
declared that the best way to destroy the Capitalist System was to debauch the
currency. By a continuing process of inflation, governments can confiscate,
secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens. …
Lenin was certainly right. There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning
the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages
all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it
in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose."
What we are facing is a natural cycle of economic boom and bust that is being
exaggerated by socialist governments whose goal is to bring the world in
another Dark Age in which they rule over populations that have been reduced to
slavery. It looks to me like there is no way to stop it. The world would still
be in the Dark Age today if the Black Death hadn't wiped out half the world's
population and created a severe shortage of labor. This makes the idea of a
nuclear war that kills billions of people not so far fetched as it would solve
a lot of problems and through the process of natural selection would remove
from the gene pool those people who were too stupid to see it coming and
prepare for it. Something bad is going to happen, that's for sure. It's only a
question of what, and how soon.
