RG,
Yes that is true. But I would like to believe that the human
race is evolving, and now that war is no longer a viable option to
solving problems that we can come up with a better solution, one not so
destructive of property.
This is why I believe we have arrived at a turning point and
voting for Donald Trump is so important and this election is unlike any
election in U.S. history, since he is against the Neocons and their
wars. I doubt if anybody can save the U.S. from bankruptcy, but as
Commander In Chief, one thing the President can do is prevent us from
going to war. Hillary has been proven to have incredibly bad judgement
in an addition to being a psychopath.
I suspect that we already have evolved. Since all wars are based
on economics and all money is nothing but 1's and 0's on a computer,
cyber warfare is the future. You might wake up tomorrow and find that
your bank account and pension have been wiped. Could be the Chinese or
the Russians or even your own government. Problem solved! All debt has
been wiped and unless you are prepared then you are now totally
dependent on the government for your survival. They will be serving hot
meals at your nearest FEMA camp while you wait to be "processed".
Instant social paradise.

A study of world history shows
countries fighting for the last 6,000 years.
Usually it is over economic dominance. This will
continue until mankind
is eliminated from the earth which might not be too far
in the future as weapons
become ever more powerful.

I have asked why is Russia our enemy when they are
no longer communist, but nobody can answer that
question.
