That's what Mr. Trump (especially) has been saying!
Mrs. Clinton was required by official policy of the State Department to use
an approved encryption email system which apparently uses the Internet to
transfer the encrypted messages. AT&T and Western Union used to provide
secure telephone and telegraph facilities for the government in the
pre-season Internet days. I forget the names, but the secure telephone
system number was listed alongside their commercial number. Western Union
handled the digital systems, so it was only enviable for them to develop
ARPA which was the precursor on the Internet.
CODEN? Was that the name?
Maybe I shouldn't guess.
Anyway Mrs. Clinton should have been using a secure server, a non-lawyer
would have been arrested, but we all should know that police-lawyers-judges
are on the same team and they let each other break the law with impunity.
That's the biggest reason we need to get away from anyone who is a lawyer
in government.
Trump isn't a lawyer.

There are secure systems,and cryptography which would at least keep the

Why was State Dept traffic sent in the clear on the Internet of all places
