Everyone
Spain ruled many colonies for about 400 years compared to the USA we are only
239 years (1777-2016).
One result is that Spanish is a major language.
In my humble opinion this attachment in part shows that many factors other then
Socialism vs Captalism
determs the standards of living. Natural resources, farm land, trade,
industrialization, education,
differences of religion, ethnic histories, cohesion, honesty, corruption, etc.,
etc., you name it.
