Hi gang
Well known prolific mystery writer asked his publisher to take
his book "Rage" off the shelves when he learned that 4
teenagers over a 10 year period had copycated part of the
story taking guns to school and killed a total of six people.
King was a teenager when he wrote the story under a
different name. He is a democrat, has 3 hand guns, supports
the 2nd amendment but is for stricter controls, against asssult
weapons and high capacity clips. He expressed his views in a
paid 25 page essay the money of which will go to the Brady
Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.

He cited a case in 1996 of a 28 year old Martin Bryant shot and
killed 35 people near Australia's Port Arthur, a popular tourist
destinqation. As a result Australia banned and bought up
automatic and semi automatic guns, destroying at least
600,000 in 12 months, about a third of privately owned guns.
The number of gun homicides fell from 69 in 1996 to 30 in
2012 a decrease of 56.5 percent.

Comrade Blumenthal agrees
