GM Sparks,
I took the weekend off from my computer as I usually do and found tons
of sparks coffee break email waiting to
be read. Good thing I'm a fast reader.
Woke up Sat. morning and told Ms. Grasshopper we should inventory our
ammo because our resident doomsday preppers
say the apocalypse is imminent.
It took about 5 seconds to count our .38 cal. ammo, one box copper
jacketed and one box hollow point.
Ms. Grasshopper then said she felt lucky so around 1400 we headed to our
favorite casino, Wild Horse Pass.
There was one $100 (max bet) and lots of 3/6, 4/8 limit Texas Hold-Em
Poker games going so I placed my name
on the waiting list behind 4 other waiting for the $100 game and also on
interest list for the $300 game. An interest
list is just that since the game has not started. Ms. GH was trying the
slots out and said she would play poker later.
It wasn't long until the $300 game cranked up and I took seat no. 3, 9
seats total. Cashed in $200 for two stacks of
red chips ($5 each). Ms. GH came in the poker room with $110 slot win
and joined a $100 game.
We quit at 1900 and cashed in our chips, Ms. GH won $515 and I won $650.
Superbowl party with friends over in Sun City was fun but sorry the
49ers lost, at least they gave us a good game.
