I agree in theory with everything you say. Most wealthy Christians are very
charitable. The "robber baron" David Rockefeller, like many Christians of his
day, tithed 10% of everything he earned to the church to help the needy.
Another capitalist "robber baron", Andrew Carnegie donated everything he owned
to charity before he died. Most of the well-to-do Christians I know believe
that helping the less fortunate is one of the reasons they have been so
successful in business and in life. They really and truly believe this. So do I.
Unfortunately, like Stan, not all Americans are Christians, and do not donate
anything to the poor no matter how much wealth they have. It's just not part of
their culture. Hoarding wealth is not good for the economy, especially a
capitalist economy. It quite possible that the reason why Jews were the
inventors and have been the promoters of communism is because Jews do not share
Christian beliefs. Maybe the only way to get money to help the poor from a
non-Christian is to force it out of him.

I agree with you. Most people do not realize until it is too late that
Socialism/Communism/Fascism the "ism's" of the left enslave people.
Capitalism is not without faults. Many of the worst faults of substitution of
less quality goods for better goods and selling it for the premium price can be
controlled by government regulation. Pharmaceuticals have to be pure, not
poisoned. Likewise food and clothing cannot be dangerous.
However, capitalism can provide the generous world that Stan rightly wishes to
have. But this takes individuals not government to do the giving and
providing. Less taxes for everyone especially for the rich, results in more
charitable giving, and more research and development for new products, more
investment in ships and factory in our nation.
People and Nations do not do well under Communism. It's a prison for everyone.
Unfortunately many of the Leftists - the Antifa people, the protesters, the
college professors, don't unzip their billfold and contribute to charities who
do much work. They don't often contribute to taxes either, they want the rich
to take care of them.
I'd rather have those with money fund schools to teach the poor to help
themselves by having a good trade and skill.
I also would rather see local charities - either faith based or secular - but
locally organized, but perhaps with a national organization help those in
need. The Left and the Right all agree on this, they just disagree on how it
is to be done.

But what you must understand is that Stan is not a Christian. He is part of the
late wave immigration that brought the parasites to America to feed off the
labors of hard working Americans. These are the socialists and the communists.
You can't blame Stan for being what he is. If I were Stan then I would probably
be a socialist/communist, too. Stan is a loser. I don't mean to be insulting
but don't know any other way to put it.
A good example is the typical college professor. They just want security so
they can be free to live in their own minds without having to expend energy
fighting for survival. Of course they are socialists. And I suppose that it is
only natural for people to believe that what is best for them is also best for
everybody else.
The only problem I have with socialism/communism is that it enslaves people. It
does not enslave people who live in their own minds because they do not
actually produce anything or accomplish anything real. They would be just as
happy living in a prison cell. But because they are parasites on the people who
do produce real things they must force their ideas on other people whether you
agree with them or not, where as people like you and I do not try to force our
ideas on other people because we are independent. We can try to convince them
by open debate, but that is a waste of time. But what expressing our beliefs
can do is assure people of like mind that they are not alone, because they
almost never hear this in the mainstream media which is where most people go to
for their information. That the American people elected Donald Trump proved
otherwise.

the greed, pride and selfishness that causes the problem.
Unfortunately, when governments get involved you get those who want to enslave
people and I consider socialism, communism, and fascism - - - all creatures of
the left, as the greatest evil in the world today.
That doesn't mean that I don't agree with generosity and valuing people by
paying them well or to the widows, veterans and nd disabled, I would support
them gladly and I would help the poor, teaching them skills to support
themselves and feeding them while they are learning to support themselves.
