Stan, I don't recall any of us besides you that crewed those ships and cashed
the checks felt entitled to any special praise for having done so. Further, I
don't recall any body feeling threatened by sailing them.

Normal ships on normal voyages are not equipped with machine guns and army
personal,
which ships and voyages were you on?

Stan,
You live in a fantasy world of your own. No ship was ever attacked during any
of the Iraq invasions and live firing practice with the 50mm machine guns is
performed by the army guards every trip. I sailed on those ships too and I did
it strictly for the money. At no time did I ever feel in any danger. The only
thing I felt was shame for the hundred's of thousands of innocent Iraqi
citizens that were killed by my countrymen.
This is your last warning. If you send me one more email with a 1 mb attachment
I am going to have to block you. Nothing personal. It just fills up my mailbox,
made worse because you send me two copies of each, one to sparkscoffee and
another to me directly.

Everyone
Three loaded ships started out at the same time when Kuwait was occupied by
Saddam Huessin of Iraq.
We did quite a bit of circling around while Turkey which was our original
destination finally decided not
to let us unload in their country. We ended up in Shuaiba, Kuwait and unloaded
in less then 2 days. We
were told that that several rockets hit the port, one on the day before we
arrived. While there we had an
air alarm which was called off after 10 minutes. We were told it was because
two rockets started up but
was shot down before they got very high.
During the voyage we had two live ammunition firing practice, one during the
day and the other at night.
Pictures were taken and I am in one of them. Check the attachments.
The Master, crew, armed guard and me of the Cape Texas are waiting for an
apology from our safe, cheap
Costa Rican and Lee.
