How’s life in Flo-RIDE-UH? We are getting snow tomorrow. Don’t rub it in.
Great question. The data we are collecting including the information about
the regions, associations and club affiliation is to do trend analysis. The
trends will show us what is working and what is not in regards to the
national championships. We are not concerned with club selection. We are
concerned with whether or not the current model for Masters Track and Field
is still working after fifty years. This survey will give us the data we need
to confirm or deny that fact. Our hope is that the data will help us take
steps to fulfill our mission – to increase the popularity of and the
participation in Masters Track and Field. I hope this helps. Thanks for

Wazzup John Mac! How’s everything going in the oval office?
Just checked out the survey. Quick question. I see that there are questions
regarding the Region, Association and Club affiliation. Any idea on how that
data will be used? I am aware of another survey where one of the objectives
was to restrict club selection in some way. Just wanted to prepared for this
question after I pass along your survey link to others.

Greetings from the Track and Field,
I hope this email finds you doing well. You and I have talked before about
ways to improve Masters Track and Field. An initiative is being launched to
do just that. I am asking for your support in this initiative.
I will be attending the annual meeting at the end of this month. My
understanding is that the best way to convince USATF to work with us in this
endeavor is to provide actual data from the competitors. This survey will do
just that. I am asking you to fill out the survey and provide your critique
of the survey itself. Secondly, I need you to send the survey link to all
your Masters Track and Field contacts and have them do the same. A sizeable
amount of data from five-hundred [ 500 ] or more athletes will be a good
start. If we work on this together I am sure that we can surpass that count
ahead of the meeting from November 28 to December 02, 2018.
Thank you for taking the time to fill out the survey and spread the word
about the initiative. Please contact me if you have any questions or need
