Today's site offers offers a noteworthy resource on one of Hollywood's
significant contributions to the cinematic arts. Gentle Subscribers will
discover a range of illuminating articles and videos on the fascinating
genre of film noir.

Divided into various categories -- news, video archives, and resources
among others -- the presentation provides background information on the
origins of this type of film, along with stories on significant actors of
the film noir genre. The News section showcases recent reissues on DVD of
classic "hard-boiled" movies, while Noir City gives details on the Annual
San Francisco Film Noir Festival. One of the highlights of the site can be
found in the Archive section -- A Valentine to Film Noir, a just over 6
minute video montage celebrating the genre. Additional features include
extensive interviews with notable actors who are remembered for their film
noir performances, along with writers and directors.
