Good morning colleagues
With reference to the above, please do take note that this year's
annual general meeting of the Society of Professionals with Visual
Disabilities (SOPVID) will be held on Saturday the 6th of June 2015
from 10:00 a.m. at the offices of Kenya Society for the Blind, off
Langata Road.
The agenda of the AGM will include:
1. Confirmation of agenda;
2. Confirmation of minutes of last AGM;
3. Reports of Committee;
4. Election of new office-bearers; and
5. Any other business.
Please do confirm your attendance. Also do send any items you may have
under THE ANY OTHER BUSINESS AGENDA.
Further, members who have reports for activities undertaken on behalf
of SOPVID should send them to me so that we may prepare one overall
report.
Attached are minutes from the last meeting.
On a less formal yet very serious note, in view of the ongoing
discussions on our email
platform about the dormancy in the blindness sector, Let's all turn up
to the AGM so that we can resolve whatever we think is ailing us.
