Just to be clear, when you say, "It's the program, you mean Visual Studio.
Right? What version are you using. I'm not familiar at all. Just curious.

Ouch – That stinks. You would think that Microsoft would be smart enough to
either tell one to uninstall previous products during the install of 2013 or
keep the libraries separate for the different versions.

Until I came across a post that the darn thing was throwing errors, It never
occurred to me that having other installs of Visual studio would affect the
compiling of this project. I thought it was me. Anyway, I had 2005, 2008,
2012 and 2013. I only needed 2013 so I am uninstalling these things.
Hopefully things will work better and I can resume my project. Stupid of me…
