Hey guys,
I have added the positions for all the players (and double check the
games/minutes) on the Rosters, DD Pool, and RFA Pool. I also changed the
Games Allowed and Minutes Allowed by rounding up all games and minutes to
the next whole number.
There are 4 returning teams (La Crosse, Lake K, Madison, and Santa Clara)
that have decided to throw their teams in dispersal draft pool and redraft
their roster as a dispersal draft team. These four teams will also draft in
the middle of each round during the Rookie/FA Draft along with the other
dispersal draft teams.
There are 7 returning teams that chose to protect players from their roster
(Bay State, Davis, Hickory, Lexington, Los Angeles, Princeton, and Reading)
during the dispersal draft process. The three lottery teams (Bay State,
Princeton, and Reading) will draft at the start of each round of the
Rookie/FA Draft (in the order they are listed) and the four playoff teams
will draft at the end of each round (Hickory, Los Angeles, Davis, and
Lexington).
Please review your roster and let me know if you find anything that needs
correction.
Next up is determining the order of the 17 teams that will draft/redraft in
the dispersal draft. I will let you know when I have time to do this (right
now I am planning on leaving for the weekend and don't expect to have much
if any internet access). I am thinking Monday or Tuesday night after setting
up a chat room on Chatzy, determing a random order using their "/choose"
function to determine an order that we will use to start assigning random
numbers from 1 to 1000 with the lowest number drafting first and highest
number last in the odd rounds (even rounds are reversed).
I will also assign a random number to each returning team. If they do not
protect a player at the start of each round, they can choose to draft a
player at the end of the round and if there are at least two teams that
choose to do so, we will need to know what order to use in odd rounds and
then reverse that order in even rounds.
Finally, I have highlighted certain players under a team's roster, the DD
Pool, and the RFA Pool. The players highlighted in Gold are one of the 15
players that made the All-NBA Teams. The players highlighted in Silver are
players that made the All-Star Team but did not make the All-NBA Teams. We
can only have one active Gold player on roster, one Gold and one Silver
player, or two Silver players. If a team has two Gold players for example,
the GM can either trade one of them or designate one of them as inactive and
pay the penalty (draft at the end of the first round for lottery teams or
the loss of a second round pick for playoff teams). If a lottery team does
not have a first round pick, a future pick will be taken. If a playoff team
does not have a second round pick, a future pick will be taken. Note, teams
will not be able to trade for or draft a second Gold player nor a third
Silver player (or second Silver if the team has one Gold and one Silver).
