All the team names and nicknames sound good so far!
I live on Hickory Ave so I already can relate with the Huskers.
Dakota was nicknamed the “Blizzards” and can relate with Vermont’s winter
theme living up here in ND, though strangely last year we were in the
20-40’s for highs all winter except a two week strip at the end of January
where we were well below zero.
Seems like the San Diego Beach Bums theme goes right along with the former
Milwaukee Beer Drinkers theme. LOL.
Princeton Panthers and Indiana Knighthawks are also named as such in the
Classic80, so they seem to fit perfectly.
Forgot to mention no using the same nicknames in the league. Going through
the history I think it was the 1996-97 (NBA) season where we had both the
Hayward Warriors and Willamette Warriors that same season before Hayward
related to Walnut Creek and calling themselves the Wizards. Another season
we had the Shadow Hawks and Silver Hawks and it would be nice to avoid that.

Hailing from the Midwest, we will be the Hickory Huskers. Seeing if we can
get Norman Dale to coach.
