Hello everyone!
I decided to start a new email list as a tool for the Strat Basketball
Community to keep those who play Strat Basketball informed of anything
related to the subject. My hope for the list is to be able to use it to use
it to inform people of changes or updates to SOM Hoops (somhoops.com, a free
resource site) when I eventually get it up and running, to inform the
community when the new Rating Guide is available each year, to inform when
there are discounts available from the game company, for those looking to
sell basketball card seasons, for those looking to acquire basketball card
seasons, as a place to look for opponents to start a tournament or special
project or a new league, and for commissioners to send out a message to
inform people of league openings. The email list will be used solely for
anything related to Strat Basketball and I will moderate it to make sure
that is the case.

I chose to use freelists.org as it allows for unlimited subscribers to the
list where as Groups.io only allows 50 users otherwise I would have to pay
$20 per month for up to 500 users.
