league <somiba@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [somiba] SOMIBA Games Missed Lists I've
updated the rosters file to reflect overusage penalties from non-playoff teams
and the results of the supplemental draft. A new league file was posted as
well. This year the trade deadline will be on Wednesday the 6th. This will also
be the deadline for your games missed lists. Remember you need 2 players
eligible per position per game. Here's an example from an older version of my
team - Louis Amundson can play 46 games, so he misses 36, in groups here of 18,
7, and 11.L.Amundson 1-18, 25-31, 42-52J.Barea 40D.Blair
1C.Budinger 1-4J.Childress 17-40, 79-82Note the stretch of games 25-31
consists of 7 games (not 6) - 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31. You can easily
compute this by subtracting the larger number (31) from the smaller number (25)
and then adding 1. You can download Philip's roster planner from the league
website to help you plan.Once you've given me this list and it's been checked,
please disregard it thereafter. It's nearly impossible to fit the league
schedule into 82 days, so the lists will be spread out over the course of your
season to fit the right days. If you use the original list, beyond players
being available against the wrong opponents you risk overusing some players and
underusing others.Remember that penalties for exceeding allowed games or
minutes are double the size of the infraction, enforced on playoff teams during
the playoffs, and non-playoff teams the following season, so please do your
best to avoid exceeding the limits. If you're uncertain you can send the list
early, and I'll check it over it. Like the cuts, nothing's official until the
deadline, so you can still make a trade after you've sent your list, and then
revise it.If everything checks out OK on the 6th, then the first quarter
deadlines will be 1/20 for gameplans and 2/7 for results.-Charles-- Sent from
