Dear SOGGI Members:
Kudos to Terry Kovac, who was the first to sign in and activate the NOTAM for
the 2020 flying season at our Haldibrook Road West flying site! He wins the
coveted “First to Fly” award for this year. 🏆 Last year’s winner was none
other than Richard Budny who drove all the way down from the near north to fly
at our field!
Looking forward to an excellent season of thermal hunting with the rest of
you….keep a keen eye on the message board to see what’s happening.

Went flying today and had many great flights. Maidened my BOT electric and flew
wonderful. Also flew mt 2M Radian and my Sophisticated Lady. Had an audience
for some time with a couple of vehicles parked on road. Calling in to activate
and deactivate NOTAM went ok with no issuses.
