Okay…..I just checked the website and the tipping fee is $8.50 for 100 kg.
not 300 kgs as I had suggested…..my bad! : ) I can’t see anything on the
website that stipulates that you have to be a resident of Hamilton.
Cheers!

I use the Hamilton transfer site all the time and I’ve never been asked for
proof of residency. Having said that, they do have cameras so maybe they
automatically look up the address of the driver from the license plate
information? The dumping fee for Hamilton is about $8.50 for up to 300 kg. I
believe. I’m sorry I won’t be around to assist, I could have helped. If
Thursday doesn’t work out, maybe I can help on a rescheduled date.
Cheers!

I don't think that the old clubhouse facility will be usable by Green
Horizon's staff. Currently it has a tilt of about 20 degrees off
perpendicular, making footholds and trajectories less than ideal.
Lyle raises a good point about having to present residential identification
on entry to any given disposal site. Dave Koiter lives in Caledonia but
will not be available for this mission. My understanding is that there are
a couple of other Caledonians on our membership list, but I do not have an
up-to-date membership list. Jim Laslett originates from Cayuga, and I
believe Cayuga shares the same Dunnville disposal site with Caledonia.
The Hamilton disposal site would be more-or-less on Warren's way back home
to Mississauga, but we would still need a documented volunteer who resides
in Hamilton to attend any internment in Hamilton. We also do not want
Warren to have to lift any heavy items himself, so having a third person on
hand would be necessary. And Warren will also have some time constraints
that need to be factored in.
The Landfill will require a tipping fee. The Dunnville site minimum fee
starts at $17 depending on weight.

Has anyone thought of asking Horizon Sod if they want us to leave it there
for their workers? That might save a lot of time & energy!
Are we sure we can dump a load in Dunnville without having residence there?
Might be closer & easier to take it to the transfer station located just
south of Hwy 53 & Upper Ottawa street in Hamilton?
I can’t make it as we are loading up the van for a 6 am departure on Friday
morning to the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. I won’t be back until July
14/19.
Best regards!

Hi All,
We need to dispose of the clubhouse which is still sitting on the Mines
Rd. field. The plan is to chop it up and take it to the Haldimand dump in
Dunnville.
Warren has kindly offered use of his trailer this Thursday. So I am
asking for a volunteer work team to help out starting at 9 am Thursday at
the Mines Rd. field.
Please let me know if you can help out. If so please bring whatever
wrecking tools you may have available, e.g wrecking bars, axes, saws etc.
Thanks, Andy
