Great SOGAGG day.  Frozen tundra to start with (38 degrees at tee time) and 
lots of warm sun to finish up (not to mention the ha ha’s and hard times 
rendered throughout).



How good was:

Seeing Woods out amongst us.  He also did some chipping and truly amazing 
putting.

Swamp’s successful conquering of South #2, once again proving that history does 
not always repeat itself.

Hearing Hooks’ historic battle to arrive on time, starting with nearly the 
moment he woke up.

Conquering the misinformation provided by the course about which two nines we 
would be playing and how we made the errant scorecard work.

Feeling like a collage prof who was teaching a class in underwater basket 
weaving and thinking you have the student’s attention when really they’re 
fixated on a subject over your left shoulder that represents a whole different 
body of work (Those SOGAGGers who were unable to play may inquire to any how 
did about this).

The thought on the way home of how really special this Society is and how we 
make it that way…
