Hi Guys,
One of the fathers involved with DSAction, a small local charity, that my
brother & sister-in-law helped co-found, is an avid golfer whose dream is
to someday run a nationwide golfing charity event day benefitting kids with
Down Syndrome. I told him that if he can survive having SOGAGG attend his
inaugural outing, going nationwide would be easy. He accepted the
challenge, and his 1st DSAction Golf & Dinner Event at Admiral Baker is
scheduled for Saturday April 9th (noon).
SOGAGGERs, let’s try & coordinate this one, using Swamp’s awesome SOGAGG
website. (You will have to go there to find out the proper attire) Feel
free to volunteer to be a team captain and sign up your foursome. You can
sign up as an individual and put something like “team me up with another
SOGAGGER or with my guests John & Jane Doe…” in the notes section during
registration.
Please invite as many guests as you like and should have a number of
familiar faces from the Mt. Woodson Couples golfing group there as well.
I’m told that there are a large number of families and kids that don’t
golf, but will be attending the dinner after, so they have reserved the
large banquet hall. Would be a great opportunity to have your significant
other join us for dinner. They plan to have a number of kid friendly
activities around the practice green prior to dinner, so feel free to bring
the kids or grandkids along as well.
