SOGAGG Colleagues,
Tomorrow is Wednesday, April 18. The weather forecast calls for the average
temperature to be 72 degrees with the wind out of the WSW at 11 MPH, which
equates to a soft, balmy breeze off of the ocean. In other words it will be
a nearly a perfect day here in The Land of Eternal Summer. Nearly, I say
because every day has a little something that one can point to that just
barely detracts from the 100% purity that would truly crown it as a perfect
day.
Ah my friends, but not tomorrow. Tomorrow we will experience the essence of
having caught the golden ring. Tomorrow is Axe's birthday. This calm,
cool, collected fellow society member, this far-thinking strategist, this
all around team player and genuinely super human being (and the only known
individual who has been able to keep Rules in line) will wring ever single
iota of celebratory enjoyment from this landmark occasion and do so with
aplomb and grace (though there will be few witnesses).
