Great news! Let’s do some math:
Carpinteria, CA to San Diego, CA: 208 miles. At an average speed of 70 MPH,
with the exception of the 405 freeway which averages 11 MPH, the supposed time
to drive the distance should be approximately 3.5 hours, which is less than a
round of SOGAGG golf.
Staying overnight to make it dinner and drinks and we’re good to go a minimum
of once per month (hardly enough but a good start).
Mighty fine way to bring in the new year…:)

Another year in the record book...
It looks like if all goes as planned Doreen and I will be moving back to CA in
the new year. Most likely we will be settling in the Ventura area since our
daughter Jenna has a new position with her company in Carpinteria.
We are looking forward to cooler summers and no mosquitos ;o) The move will
make it a little easier to get to more SOGAGG events in the future.
I'd like to take the opportunity to wish all of our society members a wonderful
upcoming Holiday season...
Cheers
Chi Chi

SOGAGG Colleagues,
I’m remiss. Having been caught up in too many lower priority matters yesterday
I neglected to make note of a special occasion for a special person, to wit:
Chi Chi’s birthday. Our man who leads the Texas Chapter of SOGAGG Activities
turned yet another page in life’s book and here’s hoping our hero’s next
chapter is full of nothing but “good stuff.”
Happy Birthday Chi Chi – may you live long and prosper…
