We have No. 16 and it’s none other than our own Woods. Obviously, Woods is a
long way away from being back to where he was, but he has made progress and
is up for maybe some short chipping and, certainly, putting. I’m going to
place Woods as my cart mate and we’ll figure the scoring out as we go. How
great is it that we’ll have Woods back with us after the traumatic evolution
he went through.

Short Game Saturday SOGAGGERers,
We had one slot open which is now filled by Docho’s son, aka “Docho the
Younger.” However, Divot reviewed his calendar and discovered he is giving
the keynote at a leadership conference on the 26th and has to bow out.
Therefore, we are in need of a quality surrogate. I know sHank, Miss Hit and
possibly others had indicated they might be able to have someone join us so
if you folks would be able to do that it would be great. Also, will need to
know whether she/he is walking or riding (as requested below to all).

SOGAGG Colleagues,
Oaks North would like to see our foursomes fashioned as such that those who
are riding are, to the extent possible, in the same foursomes. I need to
create the foursomes and provide them to the course no later than Wednesday.
Please advise (as quickly as you can) whether you’re riding or walking.
Merely for info, I am riding. This allows me to verbally provide my cart mate
the first three chapters of my memoirs. Or, I just might completely
fabricate and provide the first three chapters of say, KD’s memoirs, although
I admit my made-up effort probably wouldn’t hold water to the real-life
version…J

We’re all set for our “Short-game Saturday” outing at Oaks North on Feb. 26th.
At this time, we have the following players signed up:

We are 15 of the 16 needed. Docho is looking to have his son play with us
(which he has on several occasions) and that would get us to the four
foursomes required.
Note: You do not have to check in at the pro shop. As you can see from the
tournament director’s email below, payment was required up front and that has
been done. That said, if you wish to hit some practice balls, you have to
pre-pay in the pro shop (look at you here, Sir Divot J).
I will be forming up the foursomes and advising all hands (and the tournament
director) in a few days. Also, please note the four tee times will occur
between 0700 to 0730. Looks like I’m going to have to get that
Jack-in-the-Box #26 Loaded Breakfast Combo via the Drive-Thru again as I
depart the “fiercely independent and unincorporated community of Bonita” and
eat it on the way to the course. Friends, as a veteran of years and years of
that #26 Loaded Breakfast Combo, I can say without equivocation that you’re
good to go all day…J
Finally, a shout-out to Swamp for all of his efforts in helping nail this
together. Thanks for riding in on that white horse, sir…
Going to be a fine day, folks. It’s a SOGAGG day, how could it be otherwise…
