Thought some of you might be interested in the Chili Dippers. I'm told they are
a spin off of the Torrey Pines Mens' Golf Club. It is mostly an older crowd.
Play is usually on Monday or Tuesday and often at a "closed" country club that
might otherwise be difficult to access. Price is usually about $50 plus $10 to
create a fund to pay winners. Play is individual stroke. Games for prize money
are sometimes individual Low Net but more often foursome-linked. For example:
Low Net individual and throw out one hole score from each side; Foursome 1,2,3
Waltz (best score of 1 player on 1st hole, then 2 on next hole, 3 on next,
start over.
If you want to play in August, send Fred an email listing yes/no for each
event. Tell him Sarah and I invited you to check out Chili Dippers.
