KD,
With sailing on Sunday and golf north on Friday, my vote would be for Baker
North on Saturday, but Pendleton is nice as well.
Distro,
Here is the dealer that I was able to score with LaCosta, any military vets are
$75, but must show IDs. The must show IDs is new as of today. I'm assuming
that they will take retired IDs. So this will cover, KD, Divot, OB. Can't
remember if Rules is retired. I also have a gift card for $320 for a foursome
($80 per player). If Rules is not retired, anyone have ideas on how to split
the cost for the person that will have to pay full cost? LaCosta is pretty
proud of their course, The full price is $230 a round per person. Maybe
everyone kicks in $20 extra? To offset the one full price fare if necessary. I
am open to ideas.
Broken Yolk has the most votes so far for blast.
Also, I plan on cancelling the 9:08 tee time tomorrow since we only have 8
players.
Best,
Rico aka OB

Well done amigo!!! Looking forward to joining the fun!!!
Since Chi Chi is going to be in town from 9-14 Nov, I am proposing that we
set up a "Vegas-like" week of golf outings (i.e. golf every day). I know
that this kind of grueling schedule would be impossible for many of you
working stiffs, but just wanted to throw it out there in case there was a day
or two that you could participate.
Here's what I have in mind:
· Wed, 9 Nov -- Mission Bay (night golf) followed by burgers at
Rocky's (Chi Chi isn't scheduled to land at Lindbergh until 4:45pm, so the
first tee time would probably be no earlier than 5:45ish....)
· Thurs, 10 Nov -- Golf Club of California ("Fast" Eddie and "Danger"
Don Schiltz are already in)
· Fri, 11 Nov -- SOGAGG event at La Costa (Thank You Rico‼!)
· Sat, 12 Nov -- TBD: Could do East Lake, Salt Creek, or Pendelton???
· Sun, 13 Nov -- Adm Baker (North)
· Mon, 14 Nov -- Sea 'n Air (Chi Chi flies out later in the afternoon)
So pick out the day or days that you'd like to participate and let me know.
I'll make the necessary tee times.
All the best,
KD

Subject: [sogagg] 11/11 Vets Day Outing
Dear Esteemed SOGAGG Colleagues,
Here is who I have for the Nov outing. I will be confirming tee times today,
but looks like we will have 2 or 3 groups starting at 8:52, 9:00, and 9:08
(if needed). For bfast there are several choice next to Omni LaCosta -
Broken Yolk (great food), Starbucks, or Brueggers Bagels. Also, all three
are next to each other. If Broken Yolk, I recommend a 0715 RDVS to allow
eating, parking/check in (there is both valet and self park), and some range
time / putting time. Address are below.
Have not heard from or missed the email - Please let me know Old Slice Divot

ChiChi - That's right, I called up ChiChi and after telling him about the
event he was in. Can't wait to see you ChiChi!!!!

Can't make it, but would love to see at Casa Cassoni Vet's Day BBQ Ace Skully

I am assuming that everyone that will be golfing will be able to make the
after event. Please let me know otherwise. Sounds like Bagger's wife will
be able to join. Anyone else's spouse plan on joining? Trying to get an
accurate head count. Also, if anyone has any diet restrictions, please let
me know. Was planning on sliders, dogs, salad, and refreshments.
