Dick. There is a little more to the story. In 2018 I went up to Holly's to
order a jacket. Set my GPS. Followed all the turns, pulled into what I
thought was Holly"s. Just a big house with a nice sports car in an open
garage. Did not look like an embroidery shop. I eye up the sports car. Ring
the door bell. Man comes out. Told him I was looking for Holly's. Asked me if
I had a certain kind of GPS, yes, said he had called them several times as it
had the wrong info in the system. We talk about the sports car. Said it had
just come back from a "high class" show in Philly. Told him my son had 5 or 6
Alphas. Saw my Seven Mountains hat. Wanted to know if I new Jon. Oh, yes.
Pointed to the house next door which I had to drive past to get to the man's
house. He said that is where Jon Raemore lived. So, I know where Jon"s home
was. I often wondered from Jon's banjo story if the person I talked to was the
person to whom the banjo was delivered to. Oh, by the way Holly's quarter of
mile up the road.Small world!GlenSent from my Galaxy

Thanks for doing that Glenn. That's a good story on Jon as well. I
tried that with cars at one time but it didn't work. That was before Karen. I'd
never have tried that on her. She's too sharp!

Friends - Thought I would let you know I forwarded a copy of Jon's obituary to
Murphy Henry who writes the General Store column for Bluegrass Unlimited and
requested her to include Jon in one of her columns where she lists obituaries
from time to time.
I used to enjoy Jon's story of his very special banjo for which he paid a good
price and how he worked with the UPS delivery person to have it delivered next
door so he could get it in the house without his wife knowing about his big
expenditure! He thought if he could get it in the house, she would not know
the difference in banjos!
