Hi all, I apologise for sending this message to various lists, as some
people may see it several times over. However I feel I may receive helpful
advice from all the lists to which I intend to send to.
I had very slow WIFI both Monday and yesterday and it wasn't possible to
properly cast from YouTube Music on my phone to my Google Home speaker
until some point yesterday. I believe it's not generally recommended to
keep a phone switched on with YouTube Music open while casting, however,
when casting a mixtape, I like to keep the app open on my phone encase I
need to remove a song from a mixtape, as I still haven't found a way to
restrict suggested tracks to English only, so there are times when I may
need to use the phone to remove a foreign track from a mixtape.
When I tried to play my mixtape this afternoon , I found that if I left my
phone switched on and YouTube Music open, the cast kept disconnecting from
the phone even though the Mixtape continued to play. In the end I had to
turn my SmartVision 2 phone off and just let the mixtape play through my
Google Home Speaker.
Is there a way I can try to resolve the phone disconnection issue and also
restrict the language of suggested music to English only?

P.S. my wife also has a SmartVision 2 phone, and she's also experienced the
disconnection issue recently.
