Hi Lindsay,
When you dial a number, you won't hear any tones, but numbers will speak to
you as you know. You will hear tones when on a call, as the DTMF signals
need to be directed to the other party.
You ought to be notified of appointments in your calendar if your calendar
is set to notify you with an alert. I will look into this in greater detail
and get back to you.

Hi to list members I have just purchased the smartvision 2 mobile, I was
wondering if anyone could tell me is there tones when you use the key
pad? also when I add an event to my calendar why doesn't the phone send me
a message of the event, or do I have to look in my calendar everyday to
check if I have anything on that Day?
any help would be appreciated
