Sam is correct! The SmartVision2 doesn't have a finger print reader! As far as
passwords and other fields! Some program will accept
input from the keyboard and others will not. It is an trial and error to
determine what will work. Some program you must use the
touch screen to enter that information.
If you find you would like to use a finger print reader! Then you will need to
switch to a phone that is much more current then the
SmartVision2. It is 4 operating systems out of date. The only bad thing about
newer phones is they are all touch screens. However
you can use the Rivo2 keypad with them and that looks like a telephone keypad
with 8 extra keys added.
Myself, I don't use my SmartVision2 anymore! Gave it up over 4 months ago. It
is just sitting in its box inside of a cabinet! Went
with a Samsung Galaxy S10E that now has Android 10 on it. I'm able to use 3
Bluetooth devices while on a call and even have Wi-Fi
going updating software on the phone at the same time.
The SmartVision2 you cannot use 2 devices at the same time while on a call. As
far as that goes if you try to use Bluetooth headset
and Wi-Fi while not on a call to update software! The SmartVision2 is at a high
risk of getting its software in a bad state. Did
that once and Bluetooth never work correctly after that. Looks like a got
totally bad. Ended up sending it in for repair. When I got
it back! Just made sure it worked and then just put it in its box and stored
it. Could have been a software update that caused the
issue with Bluetooth too.

Hi Lana,
It depends on the edit field, but try pressing the enter key before entering
your password. This may or may not make a difference.
No, there is not a fingerprint sensor.

Hi can anyone tell me if the smart vision 2 has finger print capabilities?
And can you only input passwords using the touch screen?
I tried to enter a banking password using the keypad but the numbers weren't
spoken.
I was using headphones.
I have been right through the manual a couple of times and can't find answers
to my questions.
Thanks
Lana
