Depending on the ID Mate you have! You may be able to use a different charger
then what the ID Mate came with. If you have the ID
Mate Quest or the ID Mate Galaxy! Then the charging brick that you use to
charge the SmartVision2 will also work to charge the ID
Mate. Just meed to swap the USB cable and that is it. If that works! Then I
would just go out and buy a 2 port USB charger. Get one
that is at least QC3 ready at 36W or more. That away when you get a better
phone! You'll be able to take advantage of the higher
speed charging that the USB charger will give you for newer phones. It will
also work for older phones like the SmartVision2 that is
over 3 years out of date.
Now if you have the ID Mate Summit or the other one that is even older! Then
you'll need to get a different charger.

I have an ID-matewith a very flat battery due to a mal-functioning battery charger so it cannot work at the moment.
