Hi all,
A new version of software for the SmartVision 2 has been released.

Software Update Process
An Internet connection is required to download and install SmartVision2
updates.
To update your device, go to Settings, select "About Phone" and then
"System Updates".
Select "Download and install" at the bottom of the list and press the "OK"
button to start the download. (sometimes, it is easier to scroll up to find
the install updates button).
Depending on your connection, downloading the update may take some time. You
can view its progress via the update notification in the notification shade.
When the download is complete, select "Install" from the system update
screen. It may take a few minutes to complete the process before you can use
the product.
System improvements:
- Overview:
o Bug fixes and performances improvements.
o Translation and vocalization improvement:
New languages: Polish, Romanian, Hebrew.
Quick support ID vocalization in Danish.
- System
o Improvement of real time keypad management (more accurate).
o Improvement of the display when you pair a Bluetooth device.
o Improvement of display for external keypad management.
o Compatibility improvement with specific apps requesting a non-rooted
device (as for example payment application).
Application Improvements:
- Accessibility:
o BrailleBack is now available by default in Accessibility settings.
o Font sizes have been increased.
o Improvement of vocalization for Wake up speech announcement.
o Improvement of cursors navigation in an edit box.
o Space character is now announced when deleted.
o Keyboard backlight settings have been added. It allows you to disable
the keyboard backlight.
o Possibility to delete a notification by using the X (delete) key.
- Book Reader:
o A waiting sound has been added during books loading.
- Color detection:
o Vocalization improvement for Distance assist feature.
- Email:
o Possibility to delete an Email from the mail list by using the X
(delete) key.
o Display improvement of attached files into an email.
o Manage account has been added from the application settings (direct
shortcut to Settings / accounts).
o Hotmail account is now supported.
o Reply, Reply all and Forward items have been added in the more
options button in the emails header
- Kapten:
o A waiting sound has been added during maps loading.
o Improvement of Zip code entry: alphanumeric input is now available
o Suburb information is now announced when you ask Where am I? (if
available)
o Erratic announcement during free navigation has been corrected
o A waiting sound has been added during maps loading.
o Compatible with Singapore postal code system.
- Clock:
o Possibility to input the alarm title vocally.
- Phone:
o Possibility to use Contact list to establish a conference call.
o Star key to repeat the caller ID.
- FM Radio:
o Keypad shortcuts changed:
Key 0: Play/pause radio
Key 5: Open edit box to manually input the frequency
o Keypad shortcuts added:
Key * (star): Save current station to favorite
