Couldn't agree more! Especially galling is the measley price difference between this model and their MiniVision, and the fact that one can't even at least eliminate unwanted/clunky built-in apps from this full-size (and supposedly smart) model, free up space on the device and at least render it the scaled down model it should have been promoted as in the first place, not to mention, in addition, the abysmal user documentation!

Nice they are doing that! However it is so far out of date! It make them look
very bad. They just need to drop the product it this
point in time. There hasn't been any update for the phone in a year or so and
it is 4 operating system version out of date and
getting worse. The phone did hold a lot of promise initially! But fell short
being they aren't keeping the operating system current.

I thought the below may be of interest, given that it's a presentation by the
US distributor of the SmartVision2. (Note that in some
parts of the world, including Australia, the event takes place on Tuesday

Kapsys SmartVision 2 Smartphone for Android**

*Description:*

It is clear that the most commonly provided communication devices for
blind/visually impaired individuals are iOS devices due to
their accessibility features.  Although the Apple products have many great
accessibility features, the devices can be expensive and
are difficult to learn for some.  This is especially true for those who are
already familiar with Android devices.  The Kapsys
SmartVision 2 Smartphone is designed to provide a simplified menu system which
allows the user to effectively navigate their device
via the tactile keypad, gestures and/or via voice.  The Kapsys SmartVision 2
Smartphone is a great alternative to iOS devices and
includes many other functions that may benefit blind/visually impaired
individuals.

*Learning Objectives:*

1. Understand the overall layout of the device.

2. Identify each function of the device and how it may be able to benefit
individuals.

3. Provide an alternative communication device for individuals.
