I have the same issue and I put this query to the list a few weeks ago but
no one had an answer.
I would also like to know if it is possible to select and delete a number of
emails at the same time.
The manual does not seem to have any instructions for this app.

Hi,
I've set up my pphone to receive email and it works fine, although I have
not used it apart from an initial test to send.
I don't want to use it much if at all for email, so I want to turn off the
ability to check for new mail.
I cannot find how to get into a menu to do this.
I'm using the Email program not the G mail one.
I've tried the 4 keys around the OK. The top right takes me back to theHome
Screen, and the top right kicks me back to theAp List. nothing else does
anything.
Any clues?
