Hi Damo,
At present, you are not able to do this natively.
There are text blocking apps which may or may not work as I have not tested
them for accessibility, but the feature isn't part of the main interface.
Thanks

Hi all,
I am trying to find a way of blocking numbers from texting me.
I believe in native Android it can be done, but can’t see a way to do it from
the SmartVision UI.
The reason for this request is that, at the moment, I have a data-only sim card
in the phone. This means the card cannot send SMS.
The problem is that the previous owner of the number obviously opted into about
a million text services which text me dayly offering me discounts on women’s
fashions, cosmetics, and pet accessories to name but a few.
Because I can’t text from this sim, I can’t opt out in the usual way by texting
“Stop” back to them, so I was hoping to be able to block these numbers somehow
from the phone.
If this isn’t possible, the only other alternative I can think of is to ask
Telstra to give me a different number.
Thanks for any suggestions on how to do this.
Cheers.
Damo.
