Hi,
you can add a keyboard shortcut like indicated in:
https://slint.fr/en/HandBook.html#key_bindings
scroll to "How to add a custom keybinding for Mate"
But you can as well in Mate press Alt+F2 the,n type:
ocrdesktop
or
ocrdesktop -d
then press Enter.
Also, to import an OVA file from the command line, type as regular user:
vboxmanage import /path/to/file.ova
Doing the importj takes some time
After that the VM will be ready.

or a different place for key bindings I have not checked. The key bindings I
have checked are under preferences > hardware > keyboard shortcuts
